PIKO Spielwaren GmbH, Booth no. 1230

The play area invites big and small children to linger and play with PIKO garden trains and HO model trains. Playing with our new clamp building block cars in both track sizes provides creative driving fun.

There will also be our popular float painting campaign again.

Gebr. Märklin & Cie. GmbH, booth no. 1340

A large play area invites children from 3 years to play. With My Word and Start up and with the LGB, children can let their imagination run wild. Märklin connects generations.

Junior College Europe from BDEF, booth no. 1460

At Junior College Europe, children and young people are introduced to model railroading at seven stations through independent building and playing. You will learn everything necessary for the creative design of your own plant. They are supported and guided by the supervisors. Meanwhile, parents can take a relaxed stroll through the halls.

The children can make their own small dioramas and take them home afterwards. There are attractive prizes to be won by all participants on each day of the fair. Awards ceremonies will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 4 p.m. on Sunday.

At the LEGO table with the track circle for the clamp building block cars, everyone can give free rein to their creativity and build the wackiest vehicles or lay exciting routes on the wooden railroad and play extensively on it.

Traxxas Try-me-Track, Booth 3032

After a short introduction, children and young people can drive the popular Traxxas vehicles themselves on the test track. Those who are already a bit more experienced are welcome to try a few jumps or even do a little race. Curious adults are also cordially invited to take a test drive. We are looking forward to seeing you!

VTH – Scavenger Hunt, Booth no. 3100

For the sixth time, this year’s Faszination Modellbau 2024 will feature an exciting scavenger hunt for children and young people across all exhibition halls. All you have to do is solve all the puzzles at the various exhibitor stands correctly. All participants will receive the necessary questionnaire at the entrance to the fair or at the VTH booth. Great starter models and non-cash prizes will be raffled off among all correctly completed questionnaires. Raffle: Friday and Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m. at the VTH booth.

MFSD – Modellflugsportverband Deutschland, Booth no. 3230

Who flies best? On our flying field, you can compete with your gliders. You can build and paint your own gliders at our stand. Flying competitions will then take place at regular intervals. Sweet prizes await the winners. Children and young people learn about manual skills and the construction of a simple aircraft and experience the competitive spirit of model flying.

TA Modellbau, booth no. 3530

At the TA Modellbau stand, visitors can look forward to a very special hands-on activity: Here, young and old “drivers” can put their skills to the test and drive crawlers and drift cars on the test track.

Deutscher Modellflieger Verband e.V., booth no. 3430

At the German Model Aviation Association, children ages 6 to 14 can build and fly in a balsa wood throw glider. Making your first working model aircraft with your own hands is a real challenge, but it’s also a lot of fun and makes you want to do more. Expert and experienced helpers of the DMFV accompany the action. Each participating child will receive a small gift.

Young and old, beginners as well as professionals can test their flying skills on the flight simulator IKARUS 9 and realistically control many different flying models. Professional pilots from the DMFV will be on hand to provide support.

Aichner’s Bastelwerkstatt (Andy’s Bastelecke), booth no. 3634

Let Andy Aichner infect you with the “handicraft virus” again this year, by cutting, sanding & gluing the familiar materials such as poplar, plywood and mainly balsa wood with the appropriate tools, as always under expert supervision – so every child creates their OWN model from the appropriate wood, which flies, rolls or floats – & can be taken home after successful work! This self-constructed flying model, which is also optically brought into the 3rd dimension by the 2nd dimension, is tested on the spot – as a very special treat, the Aichner handicraft corner is once again offering a real highlight this year: by prior arrangement, a slightly larger flying model can also be built, these gliders with a wingspan of between 80 and 100 cm are real high-performance free-flight models, which can be transformed into a remote-controlled flying model with a little skill – more information on this is available directly at our stand in Hall A3! Of course, experienced hobbyists will also get their money’s worth,
as always, easy and somewhat more complex repairs will be demonstrated live,
we all know that where there’s planing, there’s chipping! What’s more, even the very youngest of you will be thrilled once again with original
LEGO from the 1960s, including the blue tracks and matching locomotive accessories in wood (!!)

Tractor children’s course / Ortenau Truck and Ship modeling, Booth no. 4410

On our courses, children can take an RC driving license with remote-controlled tractor models. The older or young at heart can also try their hand at our club digger. The driving times take place once an hour for half an hour. The next ride time is displayed on the course.

Once again this year, the Neckarpiraten team invites you to the popular “Shipyard for Kids” at Faszination Modellbau – an absolute highlight that you should definitely not miss at this year’s trade fair! Isn’t there still a bit of childhood in all of us? Model making fascinates people of all ages and connects generations – from the youngest hobbyist to the experienced tinkerer. That’s why not only children are invited, but everyone who enjoys creating something of their own. This year, up-and-coming captains and hobbyists can once again build an exciting model under professional guidance. By popular demand from visitors in 2023, “Eddi”, the electric paddle steamer in a new color combination, is returning. In just 10 to 15 minutes, small masterpieces are created that can be tried out right away in the 4×3 meter mini water basin in Hall A5 – directly opposite the “Shipyard for Kids”. An unforgettable experience with lots of fun for the whole family!

IG paper modeling Southwest, stand no. 5300

The paper modelers offer every interested modeler the opportunity to get tips on building and improving paper modeling. Please contact the model builders present, who will be happy to provide information through explanations and demonstrations.

IG Ship modeling Heilbronn-Sinsheim, stand no. 5330

At IG Ship modeling Heilbronn, children and young people can sail model ships on the large water basin with professional help. This allows them to acquire the captain’s license. The times of this action can be seen on the schedule at the water basin!

RC Cars course, Carrera racetrack, booth no. 5400

On an action area at the Carrera Revell stand in Hall A5, various RC vehicles can be steered over an obstacle course and spectacular stunt car functions can be tested. This guarantees a lot of RC action. In addition, Carrera fans can experience real racing feeling on a Carrera racetrack and test various vehicles.

Plastik-Modellbau-Club Bodensee, Stand 5310 / 5420 / 5510

The PMC-Bodensee and its exhibitors are particularly looking forward to welcoming visitors to the trade fair as part of this mega event. In addition to the traditional children’s and youth handicrafts, where experienced members will be on hand to guide potential newcomers, another highlight is the special show “Made in Japan”. The largest special show of all time covers 30 running meters. In addition to the historic castles, there will be annemie, cars, historic ships and much more to see. The largest special exhibition of all time covers 30 linear meters.
