0 Gauge: Stadtoldendorf Gypsum Railway / Duingen Sand Railway

The 0e Stadtoldendorf Gypsum Railway layout describes the mining, processing and transportation of gypsum stones from the quarry to the gypsum plant to the loading of the finished product.
All processes correspond to the actual events on the prototype that operated until 1958.
All buildings and vehicles have been reproduced from original drawings or photos.
The highlight of the layout is the replica of the braking hill.
The model railroad layout “Duinger Sandbahn” consists of six segments and shows the transportation of sand with a light railroad from the pit to a standard-gauge branch line.
The sand is loaded manually and unloaded mechanically using a tipper wagon.
