The participation of non-material participants with models or model railroad layouts is free of charge.

For accompanying persons at the steam model building we charge a contribution towards expenses in the amount of 30,- €. The accompanying person must be named in the application!

Non-commercial participant receive free admission on all days of the trade fair as well as on the set-up and dismantling days when they send in their exhibitor pass.

The stand space will be provided after consultation with the exhibition management. The non-commercial participant is responsible for an appealing design of the stand space provided.

With his registration, the non-commercial participant undertake to be present with his exhibits for visitors throughout the event and until the end of opening hours.

If possible, non-material participants will receive a free parking pass within the exhibition grounds. We cannot offer free parking passes to guest drivers of the TruckModel Festival!

Registered Caravans and motorhomes of the ideal participants can be parked on a place directly adjacent to the fairground (parking lot OST2). This place is supplied with electricity and water and is free of charge for ideal participants (not possible for guest drivers TruckModell-Festival), but must be ordered with the stand equipment needs list . In addition, 2 sanitary containers with WC and showers are available. The camper site is open from the first day of construction until the last day of dismantling.

Operation of 5″ locomotives is allowed only up to a weight of 250 kg. In the hall, lighting is only allowed with charcoal or similar. Firing up with wood and oil-soaked kindling is not permitted. The operation is only allowed with anthracite coal. This is available during the event. Each guest has his own stand or siding. This is to be kept clean and left as it is found. Suitable carpet pad sheets (for slagging and extinguishing to prevent heat build-up on the floor) must be provided. A sheet bent into a U-shape is best suited. Keep rags ready against dripping water. The speed should not be less than 6 km/h. Flanges must be maintained in accordance with DIN standards.
Children up to 9 years old ride only when accompanied by an adult with parental authority. Steam locomotives are given priority. Admission is in order of application, provided the admission criteria are met.

Parking spaces are prepared for road vehicles. Warming up in front of the hall.
Exhibition tables for stationary machines will be provided after registration. Maximum load 150 kg. Documentation must be provided. Platform installations created by Messe Sinsheim may not be modified.
Driving motor vehicles of any kind – including steam-powered vehicles – under the influence of drugs or alcohol is prohibited on the entire trade fair and exhibition grounds.
The steam boilers used must comply with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV). The relevant inspection certificate must be shown on request.

The organizer decides about the admission of the non-commercial participant and the models. The organizer is entitled to refuse registrations. The granted approval can be revoked if the conditions for the granted approval are no longer fulfilled. By signing the registration form, each non-commercial participant agrees to be present for the entire duration of the trade fair and to manage his stand area accordingly.

It is not allowed for non-material participants to offer models or accessories for sale on the exhibition area and disregard will lead to exclusion. Thus, no “for sale” signs may be placed in the exhibit area. Direct sales are reserved for commercial exhibitors.

Distribution of brochures or other printed matter is not permitted outside your stand area or in the parking areas.

The organizer has liability insurance for its legal liability. This covers only damage to third parties for which the organizer is responsible.
The organizer cannot offer insurance coverage of the models against damage or theft.

After confirmed registration a withdrawal by the non-commercial participant is only possible in written form until 2 months before the event.
The organizer reserves the right to further charge incurred costs.
