1. manufacturers or distributors of model aircraft or propulsion systems (gasoline and electric engines as well as turbines) who are registered with an exhibition stand at Faszination Modellbau Friedrichshafen can participate in the FMT flying show Stars of the Year at the Exhibitor Flying.

2. the maximum number of pilots/models possible depends on the stand size:

The minimum size for participation is 10 sqm

Stand size 10 – 19 sqm: max. 3 pilots, flight time approx. 6-8 minutes
Stand size 20 – 29 sqm: max. 4 pilots, flight time approx. 8-10 minutes
Stand size over 30 sqm: max. 6 pilots, flight time approx. 10-15 minutes

3. the flight time and the flight schedule depends on the number of registered companies/pilots and on the local requirements in cooperation with the air traffic control of the tower Friedrichshafen.

4. a maximum of 12 manufacturers/distributors can receive a flight slot at the Stars of the Year airshow! Flight slots will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received

5. pilots may fly for different manufacturers/distributors in their slot(s). They are only allowed to present one and the same model for one manufacturer/distributor. The manufacturer/distributor is responsible for the moderation documents.

6. in order to provide pilots with adequate flight time, we reserve the right to adjust the number of pilots and / or flight models.

7. only 2.4 GHz remote control systems are allowed.

Attention: If models over 25 kg take-off weight subject to registration are to be presented, all required documents must be submitted with the application. A prior consultation with the flight management (Mr. Uwe Puchtinger) is required.
